Educator Associate
Be an Educator at Bionerds biology workshops for kids from Kindergarten through 8th grades. Teach biology curriculum and assist the kids with hands-on activities. Setting and cleaning up classroom before and after classes. A bachelor’s degree in Biology or other related science/experience is a must.
Able to work IN-PERSON a minimum of 4 days (M-F) between 12pm-6pm and minimum 10 hours per week, during school session (mid-August to May). Able to work IN-PERSON a minimum of 3 days (M-F), 4-8 hours per day during summer session (June to mid-August). Able to work occasionally on weekends for private or marketing events for 2-5 hours.
Paid hourly, approximately up to 29 hours a week depending your availability and registration numbers. Requires travel to different cities in Orange County. May assist in the administration and/or sales/marketing department to promote the company.
Desired skills and expertise
Love working with kids. Fun, flexible, eager to learn and reliable. Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. Must have transportation to go to different cities in Orange County. The interview may be conducted along with teaching skill test for each applicant. Need to pass a background/fingerprint check, drug and TB tests.
Pay Range: $21-$26 per hour.
