The health and safety of our students and teachers is of utmost importance to us. We modify our class format and settings accordingly based on local/state health departments’ recommendations at that time. Please review our In-Person Class Protocol that we will follow when in-person programs are launched.
Yes, we offer in-class programs for teachers who would like to have an hour of our biology class in their classrooms. Please check our In-Class Programs page for details. You can always contact us also at firstname.lastname@example.org or (949) 288-1486.

Definitely! Laboratory safety is our first priority. Biology is more fun when everybody is safe.
We currently designed our curriculum appropriately for children from kindergarten to 8th grades. But we teach classes for preschoolers and high school students on demand. Just ask us how!

For regular seasons, a typical class runs about one hour, once a week for 4-10 weeks. For Winter, Spring, or Summer weekly camps, a class will be 2 to 3-hour long for five consecutive days in a week. Guest speakers may be invited from time to time as well to present the Q&A session.
In every class, the children will wear a laboratory coat or apron (NOT done currently due to the COVID-19 situation) and gloves in the laboratory. Goggles and masks will be used as needed. Laboratory rules and in-person safety guidelines that they have to follow will be instructed. Afterward, brief lectures/instructions, fun, and hands-on activities will follow. As a class policy, the children are expected to clean their bench area as part of good laboratory practices.
Depending on what topic we teach in the class, the children can bring the live organisms home with their parent’s permission.
